The camera, a photographer and photography have aided many sectors of business and industry, advertising for example. Photography is a tool indispensably used by the creative field. This field is gaining a lot of popularity in the market and the demand for professional photographers is increasing at an alarming rate. This field is for those who are creative and imaginative. Before we look into different types of entertainment, first lets define what entertainment is. Entertainment is any kind of activity that provides amusement for people in a passive way, other entertaining activities that involve participating are considered recreation or hobbies.

There are many types of entertainment for particular tastes, for example we have cinema, theatre, sports, games, social dance, concert, comedy shows, animations, impressionists, clowns and the list goes on and on.

These form of entertainment can than be divided into groups  according to the age and interest of the people being entertained. For instance we have child entertainment, adult entertainment, live action entertainment, public entertainment and corporate entertainment. In this article we’ll give a brief explanation to some of these forms.

Child Entertainment

Kids need to be entertained and some times the entertainer or the entertainment agency needs to find a balance between mental and physical activities. Clowns, puppets, pantomimes and cartoons tend to appeal to children, though adult might find it enjoyable too.

Adult Entertainment

Adult Entertainment many times is related to the sex industry, but this form of entertainment can not be related only with the sex industry and its branches. Adult Entertainment involves things like music concerts, live sports, opera and a hand full of other activities that kids might not find so appealing.

Live Entertainment

This form of entertainment is broadened to all ages as there are a variety of activities that can labelled as live entertainment. For instance music concerts, live TV shows, live sports, theatres and any other activity that you could think of that is aimed to amuse people.

If you love photography you may be looking for a career in the field. You will find 3 main areas of photography in which you there are careers, these include; general, commercial and advertising. You should go into the area that best suits you.
If you have had any training experience, such as classes or courses then you should be able to have a lot of success in the commercial/advertising area.

General photographers are most commonly the ones who own their own business and work from home as it were. These types of photographers do not tend to use this job as their sole income and will most likely not have a shop front. The various types of work these photographers will shoot would include weddings, such as Birmingham Wedding Photographer, senior portraits and family portraits. General photography will help you do freelance work, usually for commercial business.

Commercial photographers work for business rather than the community. This will include woing work for catalogues, newspapers, architectural businesses, and pretty much can be any corporations that need photographs taken. These may be part of the company staff, or work freelance on some sort of contract. Freelances generally have more flexible hours but cannot rely on steady income like staff photographers. If you plan on working as a commercial photographer then you will most likely specialize in a certain area, such as food or concerts.

They may find it hard breaking into this area of the job field, but they will be able to get high rates of exposure when they do break into the market. You will see their names all over the place, from magazines, tv shows and even billboards. Advertising photography is however very difficultfor anyone to get into, you will have to find out how to climb the ladder to find the success you are looking for and will take a lot of time and effort.
